For TJ Lubrano- Your Gift Has Arrived!

I never forget anyone who displays a random act of kindness, and Ms. Lubrano goes above and beyond. She is quite possibly the kindest, most jolly individual that I have ever had the priviledge to “know”. As a result of her consistently cheering me up or making me laugh, I just had to find some way to repay the favor.. no matter how unexpected it is.
Initially I tried to get the company working on my Mariano Meerkat series to hire her on as an illustrator with a nice hefty sign on bonus, but of course these people drag their heels like no tomorrow. The next thing I though of was pointing a few people her way for a cute little musings/coffee table book. Again, it’s still possible but taking too long and I hate to wait. So what I did was design her a professional portfolio (don’t worry dear, you still have final approval on everything, it’s all still you) as a Christmas Gift. Now to get it there….

Oh my
! I…I..I simply have no words to explain how I feel now! I’m so happy, almost close to tears! I kid you not! And I’m trying to find the right words to say, but man! I so didn’t expect this. When you said that you had a present for me, I thought you meant the Vampire picture! I would’ve already been really happy to see that picture (Yes. I can be very happy with a simply gesture haha)! But trying to get a company to hire me as an illustrator or sending people over for a cute little musings/coffee table book…you are too sweet for words! And now you’ve designed a professional portfolio!! Oh my! I don’t know what to do next or if you need something from me.
But what I can do is sending you A HUGE HUGE HUG and a BIG THANK YOU from the bottom from my heart! And if we do meet somewhere in the future…I will give you a big hug in person too ^_^. What a great way to start the New Year! If there is anything I can do for you…just ask!
Happy New Year! You’re truly an amazing and talented lady and also one of the kindest persons I’ve met (I can recall the hot chocolate you bought for the people who were working outside a few weeks back). And with this big and wonderful gesture…you’ve just blown me away ^_^!
